Grocery Scrip Program

What is it and how does it work?

Prior to going shopping, you can submit your order for the scrip.  You will receive in return gift certificates for the amount ordered and for the grocery store specified.  Grocery Scrip is used as a substitute for cash or check when purchasing your groceries.

What stores are participating in our area?

Acme - Bordentown, NJ

Acme- Burlington, NJ

Roebling Town Market - Roebling, NJ

Shop Rite - Bordentown, NJ

OR any local Acme or Shop Rite

How does it benefit Holy Assumption School?

Holy Assumption School P.T.A. is able to raise funds by keeping the difference between the discount price at which it was bought and the full face value at which it is sold.

The average-sized family spends $100.00 per week at the grocery store or $5000.00 annually.  Holy Assumption School P.T.A. would get 5% on grocery scrip from the store and sells it for full face value to the family.  Over the course of the year, Holy Assumption School P.T.A. would make $250.00 or 5% of $5000.00 just from ONE FAMILY GROCERY BILL!!!!!

How can I participate in the program?

It is as easy as contacting Cathy Marshall via e-mail or by calling 609-747-1558.

Purchase your gift certificates in person each Friday from 7:45 am to 8:15 am in the school foyer.
